About USL League Two

USL League Two is considered the fourth tier of soccer in the United States (comparable to Single-A in baseball). The league provides elite collegiate players the opportunity to compete in a professionalized summer environment while maintaining NCAA eligibility. It also serves as a platform for current and former professional players seeking exposure to top-level scouts.

The league functions as a proven development pathway to Major League Soccer and higher professional divisions, while delivering affordable, family-friendly entertainment to communities like Greater Reading.

About the WPSL

As of 2023, the Women’s Premier Soccer League (WPSL) remains the longest-active women’s soccer league in the United States and, with 120+ teams, the largest women’s soccer league in the world. The league spans 29 states and continues to grow at a 15.3% annual rate, averaging 31 expansion teams per season since 2016.

WPSL rosters feature elite collegiate, post-collegiate, international, and standout prep athletes. The average player age is 20.7 years old. Sixty-nine percent of players compete in their hometown metro area, and 92% of collegiate athletes are rostered at NCAA member institutions.

About Reading United A.C.

Founded in 1995 as the Reading Rage, the club was originally financed by Berks Professional Sports. After 15 years, the organization transitioned into Reading United A.C., continuing its commitment to top-level minor league soccer while serving as a “club-neutral” provider of soccer camps, clinics, and development opportunities for youth players, coaches, schools, and families throughout the region.

On January 30, 2020, Reading United unveiled new logos and colors ahead of its 25th season, signaling a new era while honoring its storied legacy.

Through this partnership, National Soccer Network and Premier Media Group will deliver professional live broadcasts featuring commentary, graphics, replays, and enhanced sponsor visibility — elevating the matchday experience for fans across Berks County and beyond.

Fans can watch:

  • USL League Two home matches on SportsEngine Play

  • WPSL home matches on ROKU TV via National Soccer Network

Reading United A.C. is set to #DefendThe610 in 2026 with expanded national exposure and a renewed commitment to excellence on and off the field.
