Chattanooga, TN — The National Soccer Network (NSN) has announced the NSN Chattanooga Challenge 2026, a men’s soccer tournament bringing together top regional clubs while supporting charitable organizations in the Chattanooga area. The tournament will take place in Chattanooga, Tennessee, with a portion of proceeds benefiting local soccer-focused nonprofits.

The Chattanooga Challenge will feature six clubs from across the Southeast, split into two groups and competing for prize money. In addition to competitive play, the event is designed to create a meaningful community impact through charitable giving and local engagement.

A portion of tournament proceeds will benefit Chattanooga Sports Ministries and City Fields (Cleveland, TN), organizations that use soccer to positively impact youth and families throughout the region.

“This tournament is about more than just winning games,” said Jonathan Turner, Founder of National Soccer Network. “We wanted to build an event that delivers quality competition while also giving back to organizations that are making a real difference through the sport.”

The tournament will also mark the inaugural matches for expansion clubs Cleveland United FC and Red Top SC, adding a historic element to the event.

Participating Teams

Group A: Cleveland United FC, Tango FC, Scenic City SC
Group B: Georgia United FC, Potros FC, Red Top SC

While the full schedule is still being finalized, NSN confirmed the opening match will feature Scenic City SC hosting Cleveland United FC on Saturday, February 7, 2026 at 7:00 PM, to be played at the Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts.

To ensure decisive outcomes, matches tied after regulation will advance to a 10-minute Golden Goal overtime period. If still tied, the match will be decided by an MLS-style breakaway penalty shootout, featuring five kickers per team and sudden death if necessary.

Calum Ewing emphasized the importance of the event to the region, stating,
“Chattanooga is home to one of America’s most passionate soccer fanbases, and I’m excited to see six quality clubs come together to benefit the local community. With two expansion teams, unique rules, and a strong product on the field, this tournament will be one to remember.”

The NSN Chattanooga Challenge 2026 will showcase high-level regional soccer, professional media coverage, and digital exposure through National Soccer Network platforms. Additional details, including full schedules, venues, and broadcast information, will be announced at a later date.
