Great Lakes Region — The National Soccer Network (NSN) has officially announced the launch of the NSN Great Lakes Cup, a new summer soccer tournament created to showcase top men’s and women’s pre-professional teams from across the Great Lakes region and beyond.

The Great Lakes Cup will be part of the newly launched NSN Challenge Series, a collection of professionally run tournaments focused on competitive excellence, media exposure, and elevating the pre-professional soccer landscape in the United States.

 

The event will take place this summer, bringing together clubs seeking high-level competition during the heart of the pre-professional season.

“The Great Lakes Cup is designed to give pre-professional teams a platform that feels professional from start to finish,” said Jonathan Turner, Founder of National Soccer Network. “This region has a deep soccer culture, and we’re excited to create an event that matches that energy and ambition.”

Who the Great Lakes Cup Is For

The NSN Great Lakes Cup is open to:

  • Men’s and women’s pre-professional soccer teams

  • Clubs competing in regional, national, and independent leagues

  • Programs focused on player development, exposure, and competitive growth

 

Prize Purse

The first Great Lakes Cup will feature a $3,000 total prize purse, rewarding clubs for on-field performance while supporting a professionally operated tournament environment.

  • Tournament Champion: $1,500

  • Runner-Up: $500

Additional prize and event details will be announced closer to the tournament date.
