Midwest United FC Executive Director Lewis Robinson has been named MAC Coach of the Year for the third consecutive season. Robinson leads the Western Michigan program alongside K-Zoo Director Nate Van Ryn, Coach Paige Eli, and Coach Gavin Mir.

We’re always very appreciative within our program to receive accolades and awards that are a true reflection of team success. I am proud of our team and coaching staff for their hard work, and commitment to elevate our program again to a championship season.

The Broncos put together another historic season, earning 31 points — the second-highest total in league history — and capturing their third straight conference championship. Over the past three seasons, Western has posted an incredible 26-1-7 record, becoming the only program ever to win three consecutive MAC titles.

Additional conference honors went to several Midwest United FC alumni and USL W players:

  • Heidi Thomasma – Second Team All-MAC (Academy alumna & USL W player)

  • Reagan Sulaver – MAC Freshman of the Year (USL W player)

  • Abby Smothers – First Team All-MAC (former USL W player)
